Stern probe finds fraud tops $243 million

An investigation into the financial workings of the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey has uncovered more than $243 million in fraud, abuse and waste.

The probe is being led by former federal judge Herbert J. Stern '58, LLD '74 P'03, who was appointed late last year.
