Alumnus Carlin featured in radio debate

Chris Carlin '95 interviewed Bob Johnson, president of the Staten Island Little League, on WFAN-AM radio on Tuesday, Aug. 22.

In the 18-minute interview, Carlin questioned Johnson's criticism in the New York Post, where he faulted the New York Yankees and New York Mets for not making more generous donations.

Carlin, better known as the “Continent,” is the sportscaster for the nationally syndicated Imus in the Morning Show. He is also host of the New York Giants' pre and post game coverage. He has called Giants pre-season games for the FAN and is also the play-by-play voice of Rutgers University Football.

While at HWS, he was sports director for WEOS-FM, the Colleges' radio station. After receiving his BA in English, he called three years of minor league baseball play-by-play in the Chicago Cubs organization prior to joining WFAN as an intern.
