Rachel Sumner '08, of Heath, Mass., who interned this past summer at Georgetown University with the Institute on Philanthropy and Volunteer Service, is the “Featured Student” on the Institute's recruiting Web site.
Sumner, who also interned at First Book, was chosen to be the student commencement speaker at the group's closing ceremony.
She is the second HWS student to participate in the Institute in recent years. The first, Catherine Dowd-Reilly ’04, also gave the student address and was also the featured student quoted in their recruiting brochure.
