McDonald ’77 returns to “Chicago”

Christopher McDonald ’77 is returning to Broadway once again as character Billy Flynn in the hit musical “Chicago,” running until Nov. 19.

An English major while at the Colleges, McDonald has acted in more than 85 film, television and theater productions, including “Thelma & Louise” and “Quiz Show.” He is often remembered for his role as the comically evil Shooter McGavin, the antagonist of Adam Sandler’s “Happy Gilmore.”

He has studied at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art, and the Stella Adler Acting Conservatory in New York.
