AmeriCorps volunteers honored for Jumpstart work

Four Jumpstart Geneva AmeriCorps members were recently recognized for working during the fall semester to make school success a tangible goal for several local pre-schoolers.

The AmeriCorps members worked approximately 10 hours each week with a partner child and his or her peers, serving both as positive role models and caring teachers.

Shante Rogers '09 and Cecilia Teye '09 were worked at the Geneva Agri-Business Child Development Center.

Anna Dailey '10 and Kelly Bushey '10 worked at Geneva Head Start at North Street Elementary School.
