Ellen Ecker Ogden '76 contributed to a new book, “The Oldways Table: Essays and Recipes from the Culinary Think Tank,” published by Ten Speed Press.
“This groundbreaking book features over 100 recipes, 90 food articles, and the very first published collection from the archives of Oldways, a unique think tank that promotes food choices based on nutrition, tradition, and sustainability,” according to information supplied by Oldways. That Boston-based firm's executive vice president is Sara Baer-Sinnott '75, an economics major and member of Hai Timiai during her HWS days.
Ogden, who was an art major while at Hobart and William Smith, is also the author of a forthcoming paperback book, “The Vermont Cheese Book,” from Countryman Publishing, for which advance orders are now being accepted. Her previous works include “From the Cook's Garden.”
