Copies of “Window Dressing,” a novel by John W. Hershey '71, are now available at The College Store.
“Window Dressing is an offbeat novel that follows Fenton Carmody, a college basketball coach, as he resolves family issues while trying to keep his job.
Hershey has worked more than 30 years for five colleges and universities as dean, athletic administrator, housing director, outdoor educator, basketball coach, and community liaison. He lives in St. Paul, Minn., with his wife and two teenage boys.
While earning a bachelor's degree in English and minoring in religious studies at Hobart, Hershey was a member of the basketball and lacrosse teams, the Little Theatre and Kappa Sigma fraternity.
Hershey received a master of divinity from Princeton in 1974 and a master of arts in teaching from Columbia 10 years later. This novel was published in 2006.
