Jack Harris of the Anthropology and Sociology faculty will speak at the annual meeting of the League of Women Voters of Geneva, beginning at 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 25 at Trinity Episcopal Church.
For the group's annual meeting, he has chosen as his topic, “It's More than Politics: Finding out How the Business of Government Works.”
The meeting will also look at how various city departments and agencies provide information, management and accountability to the taxpayers.
A member of the faculty since 1974, he holds a doctorate and his master's from the University of Pennsylvania and his bachelor's from Tulane.
