Alumnus Holbrooke’s film to debut

“Hard As Nails,” an HBO Documentary Film by David Holbrooke '87, will have its world premiere on Tuesday, May 1 at the Tribeca Film Festival in New York City.

The film tells the story of Justin Fatica, an “unordained Catholic minister [who] becomes a frenetic whirlwind of energy, using a mix of professional wrestling, Hip Hop and Scripture to bring Jesus to thousands of teenage worshipers.”

Tickets are now on sale by visiting Tribeca Film Festival.

After earning a bachelor's degree in political science, Holbrooke worked as a network news producer for nearly five years at NBC's “Today” Show. After producing and directing the PBS special “The Soul of Healing” with Deepak Chopra, Holbrooke turned to short filmmaking and has completed several films. “Hard As Nails” marks his feature-length documentary directorial debut.
