Marc Van Arsdale '85 was recently featured in a story in The Daily Progress of Charlottesville, Va.
An assistant head lacrosse coach at the University of Virginia, Van Arsdale was a candidate for the head coaching position at Duke University. A son of William P. Van Arsdale, former HWS vice president for finance and administration, and was an assistant lacrosse coach for the Statesmen for four years until 1991.
A history major while at the Colleges, he was a member of Kappa Sigma fraternity and the Druid Society and was captain of the lacrosse team. He is now a member of the Hobart Alumni Council. He and his wife, the former Karen Salemo '88, are the parents of three children.
