WROC, Channel 8 in Rochester, recently broadcast a story on travelers who discover items missing from luggage at the airport.
Mark LaBorne '90 was interviewed as he was leaving the airport, and said he was “a little concerned” about his golf clubs; they made the trip safely.
LaBorne, an economics major who played football and lacrosse and was a member of the WEOS staff, now lives in Victor.
The Channel 8 story said more than 1 million passengers use the Rochester airport each year, and the rate of items reported lost from luggage is well below that at the Buffalo or Syracuse airports, and well below the national average.
