Mayoral candidates’ visit to President’s Forum featured

The President's Forum program was featured in a front-page story with photographs in the Tuesday, Oct. 30 issue of the Finger Lakes Times.

President Mark D. Gearan, who moderated the conversation in the library's Geneva Room, posed questions to the three candidates: Philip Beckley, running on the Republican and Conservative lines; incumbent Mayor Donald Cass, running on the Independence Party line; and Robert “Stu Einstein, running on the Democrat and Good Government for Geneva lines.

The story reviews the frustrations of the campaign, the city budget and finances, condominiums and other development on the lake, and also mentions city councilors Louis Cosentino '87, Jacqueline Augustine '99, and Rocco “Chip Capraro, the associate dean of Hobart College.
