Lyttle, Werder leave for Nicaragua with Peace Corps

Matthew Lyttle '06 and his wife, Jessica Werder '04, joined the Peace Corps on Monday, Jan. 8, and arrived in Nicaragua on Wednesday the 10th, to spend the next 27 months in a rural area, most likely as community health promoters.

Lyttle, a religious studies major and public service minor, was a member of Campus Activities Board, the Colleges Chorale and the Druids. He was named to the dean's list and offered the Hobart senior speech at commencement.

Werder, a biology major who graduated summa cum laude, was a member of the Laurel Society and a phonathon worker. She was named to the dean's list and studied abroad in Queensland, Australia.
