Assistant Professor of Political Science DeWayne Lucas talked about the Democratic and Republican presidential primaries for a story on the front page of the Tuesday, Jan. 8 edition of the Finger Lakes Times.
Before the primary polls closed in New Hampshire, Lucas said the Democratic race could remain a two-person contest, regardless of what the Granite State voters decide.
Lucas also talked about the Republican primary, predicting that Huckabee “won't be as strong as he was in Iowa.”
A member of the faculty since 2000, Lucas holds a bachelor's from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill and his master's and Ph.D. from State University at Binghamton.
