Pig Kissing to Raise Money For The Make-A-Wish Foundation at Hobart and William Smith

GENEVA, N.Y.-Hobart and William Smith Colleges’ professors Iva Deutchman, Scott Brophy, and David Craig, and Barry Robinson, director of student life and leadership, all of Geneva, are competing against each other to see who can raise the most money for the campus chapter of the Make-A-Wish Foundation. The winner will kiss a pig during halftime at the home football game against St. John Fisher on Saturday, November 3. The game starts at 1 p.m.

The pig in question is named Piggy Sue, and is loaned for the occasion by her owner, Todd Whitford, of Penn Yan. Piggy Sue is his pet, and is a large pig, not a pot-bellied pig.

The Make-A-Wish Foundation grants the wishes of children with life-threatening illnesses to enrich the human experience with hope, strength, and joy.
