Watercolor Exhibit Opens at Houghton House

GENEVA, N.Y.—An exhibition of 11 framed watercolor paintings by artist Alan Singer, titled “Painting en plein air,” will be shown through Saturday, April 21, at the Houghton House Gallery on the campus of Hobart and William Smith Colleges. An artist's reception will be held from 7 until 9 p.m. on Friday, April 13, at the Houghton House Gallery.

Singer is presently an art professor at the Rochester Institute of Technology. He is also a member of the Board of Directors for the Print Club of Rochester, N.Y. Singer has representatives in New York City, and in New Haven, Conn. His web site is http://www.singerarts.com.

The show and the reception are free and open to the public. The Gallery is open from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday.
