Geneva, NY — The war in Kosovo will be the topic of discussion at a forum led by Hobart and William Smith faculty members, who will bring their varying expertise to the discussion. The forum, called “The War in Kosovo: Can Bombs Bring Peace?”, will be held at 8 p.m. on Monday, April 12, on the HWS campus in the Geneva Room of the Warren Hunting Smith Library, Pulteney Street.
The panelists include Peter Beckman, professor of political science; Aida Hozic, assistant professor of political science; Steven Lee, professor of philosophy; Derek Linton, professor of history; Charles Temple, professor of education; and Virginia Tilley, assistant professor of political science. Forum organizer Craig Rimmerman, professor of political science, will serve as moderator. The panelists will speak for 10 minutes each and then the panel will be followed by an open discussion with the audience.
The event is free and the public is invited.
