Kelly ’06 Did His Assigned Summer Reading

Grady Kelly '06 was featured in the August 22 Democrat and Chronicle story titled “College freshmen are off and reading”. Kelly, like all incoming students at the Colleges, was assigned to read a couple of chapters from the book Making the Most of College by Richard J. Light over the summer. “It's not just a book to read. It served a purpose,” said Kelly, of Jamison, Pa. “It kind of helped ease that (concern about) how to balance between academics and extracurricular.” Aside from the summer reading, Kelly said his only other real summer preparation work for college entailed making sure he didn't lose all his study habits.
