Chinese Art Presentation Scheduled at Colleges

May 18, 1999 Geneva, NY — “Chinese Painting & Calligraphy: Tradition and Modernity” will be presented by Tok Lok and Yi Tong Lok at 7 p.m. on Monday, May 31, in the Geneva Room of the Warren Hunting Smith Library on the Hobart and William Smith Colleges campus. The presentation is free and the public is invited to attend.

This father and son team of internationally recognized artists were schooled in both Chinese and Western arts. Their paintings are on display in the Canadian and Malaysian government collections, The Royal Ontario Museum, the University of Toronto, and the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce.

The presentation is sponsored by the HWS Asian studies and Chinese programs, Provost's Office, Asian Club, and Art Department.
