August 2, 1999 Geneva, NY — William Smith graduate Jacqueline Augustine of Geneva will speak before the Geneva City Council about the meaning of political injustice and the need for local residents to be proactive in their response to such injustice. Augustine's comments are in response to the findings in the Paley report that was initiated to evaluate claims of discrimination against City Manager Sanford Miller. She will also speak about the claims against the city manager and his staff that have surfaced in the wake of the report. The meeting will be held at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, August 4, at the Geneva Public Safety Building on Exchange Street. Augustine urges all to attend the meeting.
