The political science department was well represented at the American Political Science Association meetings held from August 29-September 1 in Boston.
Kevin Dunn, assistant professor of political science, participated in a major program planning session for the March, 2003, meeting of the International Studies Association.
David Ost, professor of political science, chaired a panel titled “Party Development Once the Party's Over.”
Jodi Dean and Paul Passavant each presented two papers: a joint paper, “Representation and the Event;” Dean presented “Secrecy Since September 11” and Passavant presented “Public Declarations.”
Craig Rimmerman, professor of political science, participated in an American Political Science Association short course on “Activism, Research, and Teaching: Living a Meaningful Life in the Academy.” He also gave a talk titled “Social Policy and Community Activism: A Pedgogical Critique.”
