October 26, 2000 Geneva, NY-Fiction writer Paul Cody, a former member of the Hobart and William Smith Department of English, will offer a reading at 8 p.m. on Thursday, November 9, in the Geneva Room of the Warren Hunting Smith Library on the HWS campus. Cody will read from his most recent novel, So Far Gone. He will offer a question and answer session at 5 p.m. in Coxe 7.
Cody is now an assistant professor of writing at Ithaca College, specializing in fiction and creative nonfiction. He has a B.A. degree in English from the University of Massachusetts, Boston, and an M.F.A. degree in fiction writing from Cornell University. His other novels include The Stolen Child and Eyes Like Mine.
