Minton is the author of Lewis M. Therman: Pioneer in Psychological Testing and Currents of Thought in American Social Psychology. His most recent book is Departing From Deviance: A History of Homosexual Rights and Emancipatory Science in America, which has been described as a book that “breathes new life into how we think about homosexuality and its past.” Minton's visit is sponsored by the lesbian and gay studies, American studies, and history departments, as well as The Fisher Center for the Study of Women and Men.
