On Thursday, Oct. 24, Linda Arrington '88 will be speaking on campus through the Executives in Residence program. Her day will conclude with a panel discussion regarding the wide array of careers on Wall Street and finance in general. All students are invited and encouraged to attend the panel, held at 4:30 p.m. in the Sanford Room.
Arrington's background includes an extensive career in finance on Wall Street with Chase Securities. She was a senior associate in Global Investment Banking, and has worked with Global Capital Markets, U.S. fixed-income securities. She was also in regional client management in the Johannesburg, South Africa, corporate office. Prior to working at Chase Securities Linda was an Account Management Officer with Manufacturers Hanover Trust where she was responsible for the administration of an $18.6 billion loan portfolio of Fortune 500 companies. Currently Arrington works as the director of business development and strategic planning for Benetton.
The Executives in Residence program was developed to enhance students’ learning in the classroom. Discussions are intended to broaden students’ minds by discussing relevant and timely issues in business that include a variety of fields and points of view. The program provides an opportunity for alumni and alumnae to return to campus to share their perspectives on the challenges they face in their respective industries while interacting with students and faculty.
