The Hobart and William Smith Colleges Community Chorus, directed by Sun Min Lee, will present their fall concert at 8 p.m. on Tuesday, December 3, at the Presbyterian Church at 24 Park Place, Geneva. The program will include Mozart's Coronation Mass in C Major and Handel’s Chandos Anthem No. 4 “Sing Unto the Lord”. The chorus will be joined by soloists and a chamber group, as well as the Geneva high school concert and women's choruses and the St. Peter's community children's choir.
Community Chorus Director Sun Min Lee earned her bachelor's degree from Presbyterian College in Seoul, Korea, and her master's degree from Westminster Choir College of Rider University, Princeton, N.J. She also holds an advanced diploma in Kodaly Method (music education) from the Zoltan Kodaly Institute of Music in Kecskemet, Hungary. Lee was invited to Korea for the summer of 2001 to give a lecture at the Seoul Oratorio Festival as well as to conduct the Kwang Ju Civic Chorus. She is currently enrolled in the DMA program at the Eastman School of Music in Rochester.
