Albright Bestseller Has HWS Connection

Former Secretary of State Madeleine K. Albright, the 32nd recipient of the HWS Elizabeth Blackwell Award, worked on her book, “Madam Secretary,” when she was on the Colleges campus to receive the award. Albright has been featured on major news programs and magazines since the book’s release on Sept. 16. According to an article in USA “'Madam Secretary': It's Albright unplugged,” Albright said she wanted to be honest about a remarkable life that has included rejection, grief and second thoughts as well as ambition and success in her memoir.
