Colleges Chorale to Host Benefit Madrigal Dinner Concert

A sumptuous meal complete with choral and instrumental entertainment to benefit Geneva Head Start.

(November 20, 2003) GENEVA, N.Y.—The Hobart and William Smith Colleges Chorale and Cantori, directed by Robert Cowles, associate professor of music, cordially extend an invitation to the community to attend the annual Madrigal Dinner Concert, to be held at 6 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 6, in Comstock Dining Room on the HWS campus.

The Chorale and Cantori will perform in a festive atmosphere, interspersed with a sumptuous five-course meal featuring a lemon-basil chicken entrée. Classical guitarist Kenneth Meyer, instructor in guitar, will also play.

Proceeds from the dinner will benefit Geneva Head Start. Tickets are $8 for students, $20 for the general public. For more information or to purchase tickets call 781-3404 or send e-mail to cowles@hws.edu.
