A multimedia celebration of third and fifth grade student work on Japan, Vietnam and Senegal from the classrooms of West Street Elementary School, North Street Elementary School and Lafayette Intermediate School will soon be on display in the Warren Hunting Smith Library Atrium.
Join the opening from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 11, in the library atrium.
The display is part of the Bringing Relevant Internet Dialogue to Global Education (BRIDGE) project. The BRIDGE project uses Web-based technologies and traditional educational resources to engage elementary school students in sustained inquiry about other cultures and regions of the world. The 2003-2004 BRIDGE Project is an ongoing collaboration between Hobart and William Smith Colleges, the Geneva City School District and the Waterloo Central School District.
