International Week will be held March 22-27. A variety of events have been planned with the help of faculty, on-campus organizations and students. The events scheduled so far appear below.
Monday, March 22:
7-9 p.m., Sanford Room: 12 Windows film: “La Ultima Cena,” a film in which an 18th century Cuban slave-owner re-enacts the last supper with 12 of his slaves and begins an unpredictable chain of events.
Tuesday, March 23:
6-7 p.m., aerobics room, Field House: Japanese Swordsmanship Demonstration
6-8 p.m., Library Atrium: International Art Exhibit
Wednesday, March 24:
4:30-6 p.m., Common Room: Babel Vision: a sweet poetic multilingual journey
5-6 p.m., Sanford Room: Asian Garden Lecture
5:30-7 p.m., Winn-Seeley Gym: African Dance Class with Drumming
Thursday, March 25:
4:30-6 p.m., Geneva Room: Faculty Panel Discussion, “On the Inside and Outside of Culture”
7-9 p.m., Intercultural Affairs: Sushi and a Movie
Friday, March 26:
4-6 p.m., Library Atrium: Study Abroad Photo Contest
6-8 p.m., Comstock Dining Hall: Famous Women's Dinner and Alumna Achievement Award Presentation
10 p.m.-midnight, The Cellar: Latin American dance class
Saturday, March 27:
5-7 p.m., Comstock Dining Hall: International Dinner
