HWS will host the 10th annual Mega Blood Drive on Tuesday, June 1, at the Field House.
“Prior to 9/11 memorial drives, this used to be the largest single-day community blood drive in New York State. It is still incredibly impressive that we host a blood drive that collects 300+ pints in one day,” said Renee Edwards, operations manager for American Red Cross in the Finger Lakes.
“It is a true testament to the collaborative nature of our community. Hobart and William Smith Colleges have been instrumental in that success by working side by side with us to organize the logistics, provide free hot dogs for donors and volunteers and with their overall support.”
