Students, faculty, and staff with chronic medical conditions, as defined by the CDC guidelines (please refer to definitions on previous update) can receive flu vaccine from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 27, and Thursday, Oct. 28, at the Satellite Clinic on the first floor of Scandling, in the former Student Life and Leadership office. Priority candidates will be dosed first, and non-priority candidates (those who do not fall under the CDC guidelines) will be asked to move out of the flu shot queue in order to give the at-risk recipients priority.
There will be only two clinic days (rather than three as previously posted) because Hubbs Health Center has been asked by the Ontario County Health Department to redirect doses of vaccine to Geneva General Hospital.
Please bring $10 cash and a valid HWS ID card. These will be checked. Faculty and staff will also be asked to provide their personal health care provider's name and address, including ZIP code. Please be prepared to wait. There is limited staff.
