Play Becomes A Lesson from the Stage

An editorial that appeared in Wednesday, Nov. 13, Finger Lakes Times gave Professor Pat Collins' production of “I Never Saw Another Butterfly” a rave review. “Seldom is a high school production so emotionally intense that it moves its audience to tears. Rarer still is the high school play that inspires its patrons to love more and hate less,” the review began. Read the story “Lessons from the stage” from the Nov. 13 Finger Lakes Times.

Collins directed the Geneva High School production.

Collins holds a B.S. from St. Joseph College, an M.S. from Indiana University, and an Ed.D from Harvard Graduate School of Education. He has been teaching at the Colleges since 1985. Collins teaches courses, in which students, under his direction, produce a fully mounted children’s plays on campus for local youth.
