Students who are looking for a way to get more involved on campus, build a resume and develop the necessary skill sets to be competitive as an HWS graduate are encouraged to check out the LEAP (Leading, Educating and Assisting Peers) Fair.
Participants will have a chance to talk with staff from a variety of campus offices to learn more about the opportunities for jobs on campus, both for the summer and the upcoming academic year. The dress code for students is casual.
The fair will be held from 3:30 – 5 p.m. on Thursday, March 3, in the Library Atrium. Those who attend will also have a chance to win $25 in snack money.
Campus offices are looking for students to fill positions in the following programs:
•Admissions – various potential positions
•Career Services – Career Assistants
•First Year Advantage program – Student Mentors
•Hobart Dean's Office – Rape Prevention Education Workshop Facilitators
•Orientation – Orientation Leaders and SIB Leaders
•Public Service Office – America Reads and Jumpstart leadership positions
•SAOP – Peer Tutor Advisers
•Student Life and Leadership – Various Positions
•William Smith Dean's Office – Acquaintance Rape Awareness Facilitators
