Credit-bearing internships are now available for Fall '05 through the Collaborative Internship Program (CIP). Choose from over 50 intern projects in Geneva and the surrounding region.
This year's application process for the CIP program is quicker and easier than ever before. And now, students can earn a full academic credit for a 400-level course by interning 15-20 hours per week, starting next semester.
To qualify, students must have an overall GPA of at least 2.7. The credit is applicable to a major if a student's adviser approves it. Application forms as well as detailed information on the worksites and internship projects are available in the Career Services Office, on the first floor of Trinity Hall. Completed applications must be returned with a resume and a personal statement of interest, skills, and goals for the experience for each site. All the paperwork must be turned in by 5 p.m. on Friday, March 25, for consideration in the fall '05 term.
The applications will then be brought before a Faculty Review Committee. Students chosen will be interviewed during the first week of April and, if accepted, will register for this internship with their other course selections in mid-April.
