The College Republicans invite the campus community to hear Mary Dwelley, vice president of Feminists for Life of New York, to celebrate Women's History Month. She will speak at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, March 29, in Albright Auditorium, about how abortion came to be an important issue for so many women today.
Dwelley is currently an active mediator of the Center for Dispute Settlement and has taught peace studies as an adjunct professor at St. John Fisher College. She has also received the VITA award for pro-life activities and the Susan B. Anthony Award from Common Ground. Feminists for Life of New York is a pro-woman, pro-life organization and is a member of Consistent Life.
The College Republicans would like to welcome all members of the Hobart and William Smith community to this event, including those who are pro-life, pro-choice, as well as those who are undecided regarding the issue of abortion. This event is free.
