Hobart and William Smith Colleges were recently named a winner of the Council for Advancement and Support of Education’s 2005 CASE/Wealth ID Awards for Educational Fund Raising.
The program honors superior fund-raising programs across the country; awards were presented on July 16 and HWS was honored for overall improvement of its fund-raising program.
Annually since 1959, CASE has recognized exceptional development programs with Educational Fund Raising Awards. The awards recognize Overall Performance and Overall Improvement in educational fund-raising programs based on data submitted to a survey of the Council for Aid to Education.
Institutions are evaluated within peer groups and awards are decided upon by a panel of experts judges using factors including the overall support of alumni and alumnae, and the impact of significant gifts to the institution.
Hobart and William Smith was chosen from a field of 247 colleges and universities.
