Anderson Presents on Censorship History

Mark Lynn Anderson, assistant professor of English, presented a paper titled “Regulating Racism: Americanization, Identity Politics, and the Battle for Film Censorship in New York State,” at the fourth annual Researching New York conference held at the University at Albany, SUNY, Nov. 21-22. The presentation was based, in part, on historical work that Anderson undertook last year as a Larry J. Hackman Research Resident at the New York State Archives in Albany.
