The inaugural broadcast of the President's Radio Series will be from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 24, from the Geneva Room of the Warren Hunting Smith Library.
HWS President Mark D. Gearan will host this and subsequent call-in programs; audience participation is encouraged. The broadcast will be aired live over WEOS-FM, 89.7.
Monday's guests will be Todd Purdum from the New York Times, Ruth Marcus from the Washington Post and retired federal judge Herbert J. Stern '58, who will discuss the nomination of Harriet Meirs to the U.S. Supreme Court. The broadcast is open to the public and will be led by student panelists and feature audience participation.
Listeners can tune in to the Webcast service from the WEOS-FM site, using the “Live Broadcast” button.
