The annual Take Back the Night march and candlelight vigil, in protest of violence against women will begin at 9:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 27 in front of Smith Hall. This years march will be held on the same day as the release of a man convicted of assaulting William Smith women.
Organized by the William Smith Women's Collective, women will gather in front of Smith Hall to march across campus and into downtown Geneva.
Men will join them at 10:30 p.m. at the HWS brick entrance sign at Pultney and Hamilton streets for the march to Coxe Hall for the candlelight vigil.
All are invited to speak at the vigil.
