Hewitt, Begala join President’s Radio Series

The next installment of the President's Radio Series will begin at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 30, broadcast live from the Geneva Room of Warren Hunting Smith Library. President Mark D. Gearan will host the program, which will be broadcast on WEOS-FM, 89.7 on the dial.

Guests for “The Remainder of Bush's Term in Office” will be Hugh Hewitt and Paul Begala.

Hewitt, a prominent voice “from the right,” is a conservative talk show host and contributor to the Weekly Standard, is better known on this campus as President Gearan's roommate at Harvard University.

Begala is CNN's voice “from the left,” and a former co-host of Crossfire. His consulting firm, Carville and Begala, helped elect President Bill Clinton in 1992. Serving in the Clinton administration as counselor to the president, he helped define and defend the administration's agenda and served as the principal public spokesman.

Listeners may also tune in to the Webcast service from the WEOS-FM site, using the “Live Broadcast” button.
