“Waiting for a Miracle,” a service of lessons and carols for the Advent/Solstice season, will begin at 4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 10 at St. John's Chapel on South Main Street.
Music will be provided by the Colleges Chorale and classical guitarist Ken Meyer. The readings will include traditional scripture passages as well as the poetry of Eliot, Levertov, Rilke and Susan Cooper.
The congregation is invited to join in on several Advent and Christmas carols. The service will be recorded for broadcast on WEOS later in the month. Check the www.weos.org for date and time.
After the service, all are invited to share mulled cider and cookies at the Chaplain's residence next door.
