The Student Life and Leadership Office is proud to announce the Leader of the Month for December…Rafael Rodriguez!
Rafael Rodriguez embodies the leadership skills and spirit that Hobart and William Smith students strive to achieve. Rafael is dedicated to promoting diversity on campus through his leadership role with the Latin America Organization, better know as LAO. This organization works hard to build and develop the Hispanic community on campus. Through their efforts they have become a leading cultural club within our community. Rafael has not only earned respect from the members in his own organization, but has been recognized by students in other groups on campus as well.
Most recently, Rafael has proven his commitment to working with a variety of other student organizations on campus. He has successfully collaborated with many student organizations in order to maximize finances and promote student activity. Through the efforts of the Latin America Organization, they have collaborated with diverse groups of students and bridged the gap between students from different ethnicities and backgrounds.
Overall, Rafael has shown extraordinary leadership. He deserves to be recognized for his dedication to his cause and to the HWS community. Rafael is a leader in every sense of the word. Our campus would not be the same without him!
