Seeking 2006 Nominations for the Martin Luther King, Jr. Senior Award

Senior Award Nominees Sought.
The Martin Luther King Jr. Fund Committee is requesting nominations for the
2006 Senior Award. The award is given in memory of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
to a student of color in the graduating class at either college, who has exemplified in an outstanding manner during his or her college career, a concern for others, a commitment to improving human relationships, a leadership in minority affairs, and a dedication to intellectual excellence which characterized Dr. King's life and ministry.
The Martin Luther King Jr. Fund was established on campus shortly after Dr. King's death. The fund also provides scholarship money for recent
graduates of color who are entering or continuing in graduate school.
Please send nominations for the 2006 Senior Award to Chaplain Lesley Adams
or e-mail her — ladams@hws.edu. Nominations must be accompanied by a brief paragraph describing the student's concern, commitment, and intellect.
Nominations must be received by March 24, 2006.
