The Student Life and Leadership Office would like to congratulate the William Smith alpine ski team has qualified to compete in the USCSA National Championships! They will be held March 8-11 at Sugarloaf Mountain, ME.
The team finished third in this weekends Regional Championships which included the best 16 teams from the mideastern, central and southern regions.
Kate Warner finished third for the event which consists of slolom and giant slomom races. Along with Kate, the team consists of Morgan MacCraig,Alli Foust, Allison Rodman and Johanna Murphy.
USCSA is the largest colegiate ski organization in the US and Canada. Over 150 colleges and 4000 atheletes participate. William Smith will be one of twenty schools competing in the National Championships.
This has been a significant accomplishment for the team . Kate's results are special as is the leadership she has exhibited.
