Warner places 11th in Grand Slalom at Sugarloaf

Kate Warner '06 of Gloucester, Mass., tied for 11th place in the Grand Slalom event at the U.S. Collegiate Ski and Snowboard Association National Championships at Sugarloaf Mountain, Carrabassett Valley, Maine.

Allison Rodman '09 of Fairport, N.Y., and Mairin Wilson '08 of New South Wales, Australia, finished 64th and 84th, respectively. The fourth member of the WS Alpine Club Ski Team, Morgan MacCuaig '08 of Mendon, Vt., did not finish.

Warner's finish qualifies her for All-American honors.

USCSA is the largest colegiate ski organization in the United States and Canada. More than 150 colleges and 4,000 athletes participate. William Smith is one of 20 schools competing in the National Championships, which continue thru Saturday, March 11.
