Laird Presents at Northeastern Storm Conference

Neil Laird, assistant professor in Geoscience, presented results from a research investigation on NYS Finger Lakes lake-effect snow systems at the Northeastern Storm Conference held in Saratoga Springs, NY on March 10 -12.

The annual Northeastern Storm Conference is sponsored entirely by the Lyndon State College student chapters of the American Meteorological Society and National Weather Association. It is the largest student-run conference in the nation with attendance eclipsing 300 in recent years, and includes individuals from all sectors of meteorology as well as high school, undergraduate and graduate students.
