Jessica Gosling-Goldsmith's artwork will be presented at the Biennial Exhibition: Beauty is in the Eye of the Artist given by the Everson Museum of Art in Syracuse, New York. The juror Claire Schneider, Associate Curator of Contemporary Art at the Albright-Knox Art Gallery, will give a lecture in response to the art on Friday, June 9 at 5:30 pm with a reception and preview to follow between 6 and 8 pm.
Jessica Gosling-Goldsmith earned High Honors in Studio Art while a student at Hobart and William Smith Colleges and graduated magna cum laude in 2005. Hobart and William Smith has one of her pieces in it's permanent collection in conjunction with the Arthur M. Dove Award. This particular artwork titled, [italicize] There is no such thing [end italics], was chosen out of 800 submissions for the Everson Biennial.
