The studios of WEOS-FM, the public radio station on the campus of Hobart and William Smith Colleges, recently hosted a vacationing investment expert.
Anthony Gallea of Naples, Fla., a managing director with Smith Barney, was vacationing nearby and was called by National Public Radio for an interview as part of the “Marketplace Money” show. Gallea contactedWEOS, where the staff linked him with the host in California.
Gallea talked about investing for the “Marketplace Money” segment that will be aired on several public radio stations on Saturday.

Gallea is founder and director of the Pelican Bay Group, and a Senior Portfolio Management Director at Smith Barney’s Portfolio Management Group, which oversees the investment management of more than $33 billion for individual and institutional clients at the firm.
He has written four books on investing and is a former member of the faculty of the Bittner School of Business at St. John Fisher College in Rochester.
