Heritage Day is a yearly opportunity for the HWS campus community to come together and celebrate and discover what makes us who we are.
Participating groups will showcase a particular country, culture or lifestyle in a “cultural fair” setting, from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 28 in the Comstock dining room.
All activities will be free and open to the HWS community, our Geneva neighbors and those in surrounding towns and villages. Visitors will learn about bubble tea, may try tango lessons, and see seasonal costumes worn by residents of other lands.
The Latin American Organization, Sankofa, Hillel and the Asian Student Union will all be there to represent their heritages. Study abroad groups will showcase their experiences abroad and the Argentinian Tango group, Libertango, will be performing.
Event sponsored by The Laurel Society and the William Smith Deans.
