Baccalaureate is Saturday afternoon

The annual Baccalaureate service will begin at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 12 at Trinity Church, 520 S. Main St.

The Colleges Chorale will be singing several of the Israeli folk songs from their 2006-07 repertoire. Jamie Agnello will read original work. And Nazia Ahmad, Rafael Rodriguez, Leanne Roncolato and Rebecca Yochelson, all graduating seniors, will read various selections.

The service includes prayers offered for the graduates by the provost and deans. Chaplain Lesley M. Adams will preside at the service and offer the Baccalaureate Address, “Be Real.” A variety of musical selections is part of this traditional service, which is open to all; seating is limited to 500.

Faculty and staff who have academic regalia are invited to join in the procession, which forms at 1:45 p.m.
